Crystal Wave
Artist's description
Multiple layers of crystals and paint make up this breathing piece. Crystal Wave has three embedded quartz geodes with beautiful lace like patterns. The cool tones of the aqua green and soft blue give this piece a soothing and calm look that is completed by the iridescent finish.
My process & experience
For Crystal Wave I wanted to add the smaller pieces of aquamarine with the clear quartz pieces to bring the blues and greens into the crystal element of the piece. By adding the small colored crystal pieces to the crystal elements of the piece I was able to create a beautiful and unique look.
