Artist's description

Amethyst Essence showcases gorgeous embedded quartz geodes that create lace like shapes that almost feel as if they are floating. These beautiful crystals are surrounded by multi-dimensional iridescent crystals creating a stunning composition. The purple color palette is enhanced by the amethyst crystals that play off the veins of the purple paint.

My process & experience

I added lots of amethyst crystals to this piece, ranging from larger crystal spikes to tiny crushed amethyst pieces. I blended small clear quartz and amethyst crystal pieces around the embedded geodes to make a pleasing transition from geode to paint. I added extra sparkle and pearlescence to complete the piece.
