Lucky Frost

Since I had never applied geode slices to a canvas before—and hadn’t seen any artwork that used them in this way—there were no existing techniques or tricks for me to follow. However, my strong understanding of how my materials behave helped me develop a method to apply the slices with minimal support, preserving their delicate, thin shape. By strategically adding additional crystal pieces to specific areas I was able to enhance the overall look.
