Artist's description

Delicate Pearl has two embedded quartz geodes. They tunnel pretty deep for their small size. These embedded quartz geodes are surrounded by additional quartz crystals. The color palette is a pearlescent purple that shines a gorgeous iridescent glow.

My process & experience

I wanted to embed 2 geodes into this piece, which took additional prep. I was able to place and blend the small crystals around the geodes to make an eye catching design. Then I added the paint and glitter to the small areas of canvas not covered by the crystals.
