Artist's description

Pearlescence and sparkle are the defining elements of this petite beauty. The embedded quartz geode is the center piece of this unique art piece. The baby blue color is subtle and adds the perfect amount of visual interest to Petite Cinderella.

My process & experience

After embedding the main geode I added crystals to create a pleasing composition. Then I built up around the sides of the embedded geode, before I decided on a color palette of white and baby blue. I wanted just a hint of the blues to keep the focus on the main geode.
